About Us
Durham Farms L.L.C. Is a family owned and operated farm. Our store and farm are
located in Catoosa County Georgia on about 6 acres of currently farm able land. Ken
& Rebecca Durham Owners, Kenneth Durham Jr. Store Manager, Alex Conn Head of
barn and coop management. Miranda Peterson Assistant Store manager. Ken
Durham Sr. Crop management (AKA. Hard worker) Rebecca Durham The Grower.
Ken Durham Sr. - has worked for thirty years in USDA approved processing plants
and sat on the board of directors of the North American Meat Processors
Association. Ken is certified in Standard Operating Procedures, HACCP and has
been featured in many Food Magazines. Ken has also Taught classes and spoke at
various conventions about Food Safety, HACCP, new equipment and recall
procedures. He holds patents on equipment for water conservation in meat
processing equipment, the designer of the Ultimate Patty fill system and co owner of
Ultimate Technologies.
Rebecca Durham - has grown flowering plants, herbs and vegetables for over 25
years, for both home use and for special order. She has over the years acquired
books and knowledge on entomology (study of bugs) and growing plants naturally.
Rebecca believes that knowing about the different types of bugs, molds and plants
diseases makes it possible for her to grow naturally. She uses "companion
planting" and "good guy" bugs in her natural approach to gardening. Which she will
share freely in her bi-weekly letter and recommendation on gardening books and
herb books.
Kenneth Jr. - Is 24 Years old. He has certificates in Cisco Networking and Web
publishing and graphic arts. He has placed first place in the California state fair for
Website design. He continues to learn web publishing and graphic design.
Miranda Peterson - is 18 years old and currently in her senior year of high school.
She is a straight A student she will be attending college soon. She has enjoyed
growing sunflowers, watermelon and pumpkins since she was 9.
